Who Am I?

Hello! My name is Amrita. I am 26 years old, a bit of an oddball, dark sorceress of vegan recipes, and a board certified cat lady too. I’m not your usual vegan food blogger – I’m decked out in almost 30 (and counting) tattoos and I’m straight forward, sometimes cynical and blunt as a butter knife. Most people find me HILAAAAAARIOUS, others just think I’m legitimately clinically crazy.  I trained at and graduated from Le Cordon Bleu London and I love getting creative in the kitchen. I was a vegetarian for most of my life and have been a Vegan for almost 3 years now. I am someone who is absolutely passionate about Animals and I definitely prefer them to most human beings, cos I mean, who wouldn’t right? I am a Mommy to 4 amazing cats, Richard, Bingo, Pudding and Ebichu! THEY ARE MY LIFE!

Okay, I had my short opinion on your quinoa recipe but I just absolutely had to comment here. I am a crazy cat lady too with four cats. My ginger Puchi is also the momma's boy and your Ebichu looks like my sister's newest rescue Pingu. Am I sharing too much? Ah well, I love cats.

Hey Aakash, I did the Patisserie degree there. The Cuisine Degree will require you to cook meat, so you're better off looking for a Vegetarian Cooking School! :)

Hi Amrita, honestly , I don't know how I stumbled ax you? But I was looking for a vegetarian filler for rice noodles a walla! there you appeared. I made your recipe & it was great , I didn't like the hoisin dipping sauce tho. I think I just don't like hoisin. Tonight , yes I am ambitious, I made your sweet potato fries. wonderful.I am not a vegan but try to be healthy and eat organic and think of myself as healthyish. I like your free spiritedness and "happy", funky, loving approach. Look forward to getting to try more recipes. I live in America, about an hour from NYC, so cool we can connect.
